Prichard Committee Meets in Frankfort For Reform Session

The Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence continues its series of meetings aimed at improving the quality of Kentucky’s teachers.
A panel focusing on teacher preparation programs will meet today in Frankfort. The Committee is preparing to make recommendations for the 2014 legislative session on new ways to measure teacher effectiveness as part of the Commonwealth’s massive public school reform. The teacher effectiveness panel is made up of educators, legislators, advocates and business people.
