Fulton, KY – Fulton Police have released details in the apparent bucket drowning death of a toddler there earlier this week. The Paducah Sun reports Vickie Dickerson was the babysitter in charge of 14-month-old Lakadia "Kady" Bradshaw-Beard when the child was discovered face down in a mop bucket. Dickerson tells investigators her hip began to hurt after mopping, so she took a pain pill and laid down in the bedroom. Police say other adults and five other children were in the home at the time the child toppled into the bucket. Police continue to investigate, while Commonwealth Attorney Mike Stacy is deliberating whether any charges should be filed in the case.
