Police Chief Seach Narrows
By Angela Hatton
Murray, KY – The Paducah City Commission will receive updates tomorrow on the search for a new police chief. City Manager Jim Zumwalt tells the Paducah Sun an outside consulting firm will present roughly a dozen candidates to the commission tomorrow. That field will eventually narrow to five possibilities the commission will interview in person. Zumwalt believes the city will hire a new police chief before the end of the year. Sandy Joslyn is serving as interim Chief through January 31. She is not seeking the permanent position.
