WKMS' Kate Lochte sits down with MSU English professor and Playhouse in the Park board member Rusty Jones to take a look at the start of theater's holiday season.
The Playhouse holiday season starts out with Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells featuring the precocious first-grade star of celebrated children. Jones says the show is performed by kids making for a great family experience. After intermission, the kids also perform the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Jones says tickets are already limited for this weekend's shows but recommends people go ahead and get tickets for next weekend now to ensure seats are available. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7pm and the Sunday matinee begins at 2:30pm.
