Plane Crash Injures Princeton Pilot

By Chris Taylor

Princeton, KY – A Princeton, Kentucky pilot was injured over the weekend when his twin-engine plane crashed at the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport. Pilot Bob Woodward came in for a landing but went 125 yards off the runway into a soybean field. He was taken to an Evansville hospital for a possible back fracture. Princeton Assistant Fire Chief Tim Cook tells the Paducah Sun what caused the crash is unknown, but could have either been related to weather conditions or a problem with the landing gear.
