Participate in National Cancer Prevention Study 3

Murray Calloway County Hospital’s Mary Heff and Melissa Ross speak with Kate Lochte about the National Cancer Prevention Study-3, at Murray September 19 – 21. It's a landmark study and opportunity in Murray for anyone between the ages of  30 and 65 years old. They talk about the first two studies: the first from the 1950s, was a look at how smoking relates to cancer; the second, from the 80s, centered around nutrition guidelines for preventative methods like how sitting longer shortens longetivity. The third study will consist of doing a survey at home and then going to the Murray Calloway County Hospital. The goal is to find links among people across the nation to find out what causes cancer and what can be done to prevent cancer. See more about this study.
