Paducah School of Art Construction Underway
Construction has begun on a new Paducah School of Art location. Director Paul Aho tells the Paducah Sun this first phase of construction is set for completion in 2013. The building underway will stand in the city’s LowerTown district, housing the school’s ceramics program.
All classes will move from West Kentucky Community and Technical College to LowerTown by 2016. The Paducah School of Art is Kentucky’s only associate’s degree fine arts program. It now has around 500 students.
