Original Story:

Paducah Police are seeking help from the public in locating a man charged with killing his former roommate.

Police said in a release on Friday that 48-year-old Samuel A. Voorhees of Clarence Gaines Street is charged in a warrant for the murder of 55-year-old Kevin Henson of the 700 block of South 4th Street.

Police warn he is "extremely dangerous and should not be approached."

According to police, a friend of Henson's called police Thursday afternoon after finding him dead in his home. She told police she hadn't heard from him and was concerned.

Detectives determined in an investigation that Henson was killed late Monday night or early Tuesday morning by his former roommate.

Voorhees is white, 5' 10" and 210 pounds. He's clean shaven with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen on the 600 block of Caldwell Street.

If Voorhees is located, contact the Paducah Police at 270-444-8550 or through Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL, or online.

Information leading to an arrest or indictment may result in a reward up to $1,000.
