Murray, KY – Paducah city officials have introduced a measure to pay half of the Paducah Convention Center and Expo Center's delinquent power bills. Both buildings have run up close to $115,000 in power expenses since last November. Yesterday, the City Commission passed an ordinance to pay half the amount from funds held in the Commission's contingency account. The second half of the delinquent bill would be covered by McCracken County. The city commission will hold a final vote on the ordinance January 17th.
