Paducah, KY – The major tenants of Paducah's Commerce Center may have to find new offices if a deal goes through to trade the building to Geotech Engineering and Testing. The deal is still in preliminary talks and would be an even swap for Geotech's current headquarters on South 17th Street. The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Paducah Economic Development Council, and EntrePaducah inhabit the building. Mayor Bill Paxton tells the Paducah Sun finding a new location for the trio is a major factor in the deal. Wherever the groups would relocate, the Chamber of Commerce would need a highly visible and conveniently accessible location.
