Paducah, KY – A Paducah man is in critical condition today after being shot in the head then wrecking his vehicle. City police responded to reports of a shooting and an overturned car last night on Trimble Street. Investigators discovered 38 year-old Jon Crouch argued with a woman at a stop sign at 27th and Trimble Street. About a block later, the woman's car pulled up beside Crouch's car and a gunshot was fired. Crouch sped off, and his vehicle flipped end over end and landed on its roof. Jon Crouch was transported to Western Baptist Hospital, where medical personnel discovered the man had been shot in the head. Crouch has since been transferred to a hospital out of town. Police continue to search for the woman and the man who was seen with her.
