Paducah, KY – Paducah's "EntrePaducah" program has received recognition from the Southern Growth Policy Board. EntrePaducah won the award for its work helping small businesses grow during the economic downturn. Thirteen recipients receive the award each year. Governor Steve Beshear was on hand to congratulate the city on the honor and announce an expansion at Paducah & Louisville Railway. The expansion will create ten new jobs. Beshear also presented Genesis Health Technologies with a thirty thousand dollar state grant for their work creating a new diabetes monitoring device. Genesis officials credited EntrePaducah for help in their success.
