OVC Tournament Unchanged by Snow; Racers Play Friday Night

ovcsports.com

The Ohio Valley Conference college basketball tournament is proceeding Thursday at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium despite nasty road conditions on Interstate 24.

The Murray State University men’s team is set to play in a semifinal contest Friday night against the winner of Thursday’s match-up between UT Martin and Morehead State.

The nationally-ranked Racers have the second longest winning streak in the country after going undefeated in OVC regular season play.

The Racers’ game will be televised nationally Friday on ESPNU beginning at 6:30 p.m.

If the Racers win Friday, the MSU Alumni Association plans to host a party before Saturday's OVC championship game. The event will be held at Nashville's Tequila Cowboy from 4 to 5:30 p.m. before the championship game's tip-off at 6. The championship will air on ESPN2. There will also be several watch parties organized by MSU alumni ranging from Murray to San Francisco.
