Obama Effigy Found At UK
By Alan Lytle
Lexington, KY – An investigation is under way to determine who's responsible for an effigy of Senator Barack Obama that was found hanging from a tree on the University of Kentucky campus early this morning. UK President Lee Todd has been swift to condemn the act in a campus-wide email and broadcast interviews. He calls the incident embarrassing, disgusting, malicious, and offensive, and he's offering an apology to Senator Obama and his family. Todd's email goes on to say "those found responsible will be subject to the full force of the university, state, and federal rules and regulations."
