NWS: Widespread Freeze Over Weekend

A widespread freeze is expected over the weekend, following last night's severe storms. The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning from 10 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.

Temperatures dropping to the 20s will likely damage crops and other plants. Light snow is also possible Saturday.

Hickman suffered significant storm damage last night, though no fatalities have been reported.
