NWS: Heavy Rain, Flooding Continues Across Region

Thursday Afternoon:

Heavy rain continues to pour over the Four Rivers Region this afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning until 7:30 tonight. Two to four inches of rain have already fallen over the past 4 hours and one to two inches of additional rainfall is possible. Stay clear of flooded roads. 

There’s a chance for a break in the rain during the day tomorrow, ahead of more off and on showers tomorrow night and over the weekend. Partly sunny on Monday, sunny and mostly clear Tuesday.

Thursday Morning:

The National Weather Service in Paducah says heavy rain and flooding continues across the Four Rivers Region today. A flash flood watch remains in effect until 6 this evening. 

Heavy rainfall through this afternoon is expected to accumulate 2 to 5 inches. Showers increase in intensity and a few thunderstorms are possible through Monday.
