Paducah, KY – A new hotel could one stand on the old Lourdes hospital property near the Julian Carroll Convention Center. Paducah business man Ronnie James and Kansas hotel developer Don Culbertson say they are interested in building at the site if the city is willing to help with incentives. James tells the Paducah Sun if the city won't help out, he will build a new hotel at one of two other locations he owns. Mayor Bill Paxton says it is premature to talk about a new hotel until legal issues associated with the Executive Inn are settled, which could take two years.
