New Hopkins County Principle Resigns

By Chris Taylor

Madisonville, KY – The search for a new principal at Hopkins County Central High School is on again. The school system's site-based council had originally selected Scott Marks of Hopkinsville. Marks notified school officials Friday that he is unable to accept the position. Applications are being accepted until July 16. This brings the number of vacant principal positions in Hopkins County to three. The district is also accepting applications for posts at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School and West Broadway Elementary School, until 3:00pm Thursday.
