Nationally Recognized Scholar

Murray, KY – Vanderbilt University called its hiring of the nationally prominent scholar, Houston Baker Jr., part of a blockbuster recruiting coup. The author of several books on African American literature and culture, Baker read from his new work, partly a memoir, at Murray State University this week.
