Hopkinsville Community College is slated to host a NASA astronaut on campus during the August 21 total solar eclipse.
Steve Bowen will share with visitors highlights of his time in space and his journey from U.S. Navy submarines to NASA spaceflight. He has spent 40 days in orbit and 47 hours spacewalking.
HCC will host more than 3,000 guests from the states and abroad to watch the eclipse.
