Murray State Volleyball To Play Its First NCAA Tournament In More Than a Decade

The Murray State Volleyball team plays its first NCAA tournament game in 11 years Friday against the University of Illinois. The game begins at 7 in Champaign’s Huff Hall.

The game will mark the second time the Racers and Illini have met in the NCAA Tournament. They played previously in 2003, Murray State’s only other NCAA Tournament appearance.

If the Racers win they advance to Saturday’s game they will play either Iowa State or Western Kentucky.

The Murray State team ended its Ohio Valley Conference play 14-2 and earned its first regular-season league crown in school history.
