The search for a new Murray State University provost is on hold until the university’s budget is finalized pending the outcome of Governor Matt Bevin’s proposed cuts to higher education.
The Murray State News reported that the President of MSU’s Staff Congress Laura Lohr, who serves on the search committee for provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, announced Wednesday that the committee's work is finished but no new provost was named. Tim Todd will continue as interim provost and vice president of Academic Affairs.
