Murray State University’s men’s basketball team is projected in the Ohio Valley Conference’s preseason rankings to finish third.
Belmont was selected again by head coaches and sports information directors to take the OVC title for the third straight season.
Two Murray State seniors made the preseason All OVC Team: forward Terrell Miller Jr. and guard Jonathan Stark. Stark was also named OVC Preseason Player of the Year.
Eastern Kentucky also made the top five in preseason rankings and is expected to finish fourth.
The Racers open their regular basketball season against McKendree University on November 2nd at the CFSB Center at 7 p.m.
