The Murray State Alumni Association names four graduates as 2016 Distinguished Alumni.
The list includes Kentucky Farm Bureau CEO David Beck, retired educator Dennis Jackson, Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Bill Cunningham and music educator and vocal coach Janice Padgett Harper-Smith.
According to a news release, the honor is awarded to alumni who have made “meaningful contributions” to their profession. They’ll receive their awards at this year’s Distinguished Alumni Dinner April 15.
