Murray Police Warn of Dog Thefts

Aug 21, 2013

The Murray Police Department is investigating several dog thefts from homes in the city.

The MPD says possibly more than one suspect is taking easily accessible dogs from backyards or porches.  Police describe one suspect as a heavy-set, six-foot white male with long, shaggy hair.

Officials are urging residents to keep their pets nearby and be on the lookout for any suspicious behavior in and around neighborhoods.

If you have any information regarding the case or possible suspects, call Detective Angel Clere at 762-0356.
