Murray, KY – A Murray State University student was hit by a car while crossing near a five-way intersection near the campus yesterday. 19-year-old Lauren Carter was turning left when she struck 22-year-old Jessica Konstanty [KON-stan-tee], who was using the crosswalk. Konstanty was sent to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
