Murray, KY – Murray State University has received a $225,000 federal grant to help fund educational opportunities for low-income, first-generation college students. The grant comes as part of the Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement program. The program is designed to encourage students from underrepresented groups to pursue graduate education. MSU can use the grant to fund research opportunities, summer internships, mentoring programs or other educational opportunities.
