Murray, KY – The final round of the 2009 Murray State Golf Invitational was rained out yesterday at Miller Memorial Golf Course. However, the scores from the first 36 hole scores stood as final, meaning Murray State won the championship by three shots. MSU has won all six of their home events since the MSU Invitational began in 2004. Last year's runner-up, Central Arkansas, finished third, while Tennessee Tech and Union University shared fourth place. The Racers' next event is the UT Martin Skyhawk Classic next Monday and Tuesday at Paris Landing State Resort Park in Paris, Tennessee.
