Louisville, KY – Churchill Downs officials in Louisville say a new Disney film about the famous thoroughbred Secretariat will began filming there today. The filming for "Secretariat" at the historic track is expected to last five days. Producers have changed the scenery to resemble its 1970s look. Filmmakers are seeking extras for the film. They're asking people of all ages to wear 1970s-era clothing and come to Churchill Downs tomorrow. Secretariat won the Kentucky Derby in 1973 and still holds the fastest time for the 1 1/4-mile race. He went on to win the Triple Crown that year.
