More soldiers from the 101st division will be making their return to Fort Campbell this Sunday. The soldiers are from 2nd Brigade Combat Team "STRIKE" and will be welcomed home with a ceremony of family and friends. The soldiers are returning from a nine-month deployment to Iraq and other areas in Southwest Asia, where the unit performed duties as the task force supporting the Combined Joint Forces Land Component Command. Their primary mission was to advise and assist, train, and equip the Iraqi security forces to fight the Islamic state. This past November, 107 soldiers from the 101st airborne division returned after a similar nine-month deployment in Iraq.  The ceremony will begin at 12:45 on January 15th, at Fort Campbell.
