Murray, KY – Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo met with his first congressional district campaign organizers in Murray last night. Mongiardo is a democratic candidate running for US Senate. He faces stiff competition during the primary against Attorney General Jack Conway. Looking ahead to the November election, Campaign Manager Richard Prelopski says the Mongiardo ticket anticipates Republican candidate Trey Grayson to raise more money, but their key to success will be field organization. Prelopski says they already have a strong 'skeleton' of key contacts to help organize counties in the first district. Kentucky's Primary election is May 18th.
