Missing Hunters
By Angela Hatton
Gilbertsville, KY – A search for three missing young duck hunters continues in Kentucky Lake. The youths were lost Saturday afternoon when their four-person boat was overturned. The Paducah Sun reports one youth survived and was pulled from the 44-degree water by locals who heard his cries for help. Marshall County Search and Rescue Squad Chief Carl Curtner says he can't release the hunters' names, but says all four are under 21 and at least three attend Mayfield High School. Curtner says 75 emergency responders have searched for the missing youths over the weekend.
