Paducah, KY – Mid-Continent University will spend millions of dollars building a site in Paducah. The new classroom building will house the college's largest program and cost somewhere in the range of $5 and $11 million. University officials hope construction will complete in 2011. Mid-Continent recently bought 21 acres across from the property Murray State University is planning to build its extended campus. The Paducah Sun reports some 2,000 adults participate in Mid-Continent's Advantage program, taking night classes at churches or businesses in 25 different communities.
