Meet Johnnie Green, a Former MSU Student Who Gifted $10K to the Multicultural Affairs Office

Former Murray State University student Johnnie Green recently visited the campus to donate $10,000 in scholarships to MSU’s Office of Multicultural Affairs.

Green received a full scholarship to the university in 1999 and is originally from Beattyville, Kentucky. Green is now a traveling business consultant who works with organizations of more than 500,000 people in six continents. Ebony Clark spoke with Green during his recent visit where he presented five students with the scholarship, at the 12th annual Diversity Achievement Awards.

Ebony Clark is a student at Murray State University majoring in computer science. She was born in Brownsville, Tennessee. Ebony has served as a reporter for 4-H congress in Nashville, TN where she spoke with several state leaders and congressmen. Ebony enjoys writing poetry and spoken word and competed in Tennessee's Poetry Out Loud competition hosted by the arts council in Nashville,TN.
