Mediacom Support, via Twitter

TV and communications provider Mediacom plans to invest $1 billion in its broadband service over the next three years, including locations in western Kentucky.

Project Gigabit will offer one gigabit-per-second speeds in the company’s entire coverage area when complete.

Mediacom operates in the following Kentucky counties:

  • Caldwell
  • Calloway
  • Christian
  • Marshall
  • Todd
  • Trigg

Communications director Phyllis Peters says the first wave of affected communities will receive the upgrade later this year. That list hasn’t yet been announced.
