Paducah, KY – McCracken County Schools are beginning a second search attempt this week to replace Superintendent Tim Heller. A six-member search committee is expected to review 13 applications and narrow those down to about five names by the end of the month. The Paducah Sun reports 67-year-old Heller had planned to retire this Summer, but has agreed to stay on another year after the board failed to find a replacement last year.
