Paducah, KY – An apparent scam resulted in the burglary of one elderly McCracken woman's home Wednesday afternoon. Two males were reportedly posing as carpet salesmen, distracting the homeowner with samples of vinyl flooring they claimed to be selling, while a third person prowled the home, taking jewelry and cash. The homeowner says she never saw the third suspect. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department describes the two suspects as white males. One is around 55-years-old, 6'2" and heavy set. The other is described as smaller and may have a black mustache. They were last seen driving a white full size pickup truck.
