Hickman, KY – Hickman City Mayor Charles Murphy was killed late last night during an apparent break-in at his home. Hickman police Chief Tony Grogan says an officer found Murphy after a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot at the Mayor's home. Grogan says they charged Tommy Lattus with Murphy's murder after he turned himself in this morning and confessed to the killing. Lattus is being held in the Fulton County Detention Center.
