Mayfield Receives DHS Grant
The City of Mayfield is getting a $15,000 Homeland Security Grant. The city requested the grant to provide face masks and a mask leak/fit tester for the members of the Mayfield Fire Department. The grant comes despite a 50 percent reduction in Department of Homeland Security grants for the state. This year the commonwealth was able to award only $2.2 million dollars from approximately $11.8 million in statewide application requests.
