The Marshall County High School Class of 2013 is among groups collecting donations to benefit the victims and families involved in the school shooting Tuesday.

MCHS Class of 2013 President Noah Steele set up a Go-Fund-Me campaign for people to donate online. The campaign has raised more than $1,200 dollars as of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

“We have two members of the 2013 class that I know of right now that have siblings that have been injured,” Steele said. “So we want to donate to them and then I’ll probably give the money to a school official and have them disperse it,” Steele said.

At Murray State University, members of dining services set out baskets to collect donations in Winslow Dining Hall.

Other businesses, including Action Sports in Paducah, are donating proceeds from sales. Action Sports said on Facebook they sold out of their first three runs and are ordering more.

Fifteen-year-olds Bailey Nicole Holt and Preston Ryan Cope were killed in the shooting. Eighteen others were injured.
