Maiden Alley - "Pan's Labyrinth"
By Bryan Bartlett
Murray, KY – The film "Pan's Labyrinth" is a gothic fairy tale of good and evil, bravery and sacrifice, love and loss unfolding through the eyes of a little girl who is uprooted to a rural military outpost commanded by her vicious new stepfather. Powerless and lonely in a place of unspeakable cruelty, Ofelia lives out her own dark fable as she confronts monsters both otherworldly and human. Bryan Bartlett talked to Maiden Alley's Larry Thomas about the film, "Pan's Labyrinth" showing this weekend at the cinema.
