Maiden Alley - A New World
By Bryan Bartlett
Murray, KY – "A New World" is a sweeping adventure set amidst the first encounter of European and Native American cultures during the founding of the Jamestown settlement in 1607. The film offers a unique interpretation of the classic tale of Pocahontas and her relationship with adventurer John Smith. Colin Farrell and Chritian Bale star in the movie, but Larry Thomas says the film's cinematography deserves top billing.
