Maestro Frank Collura conducts 'Fairy Tales and Fatal Attractions' at Paducah's Carson Center

Paducah, KY – The Paducah Symphony Orchestra previews its 1st finalist for Artistic Director in concert Saturday night (10/3). Frank Collura conducts a performance called Exhibitions 2: Fairy Tales and Fatal Attractions, featuring music by Rossini, Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. Collura is a cultural envoy for the US State Department, and even has a fan club on Facebook. He's collaborated with Emanuel Ax and appeared with Ella Fitzgerald, Doc Severinson, and Mel Torme. Maestro Collura speaks with Kate Lochte about his career in music.

Conductor and trumpeter Frank Collura is the first finalist of the Paducah Symphony Orchestra's Artistic Director search. Saturday night (10/3) at 7:30 he'll conduct the Symphony on stage at Paducah's Carson Center. For tickets call the Symphony at 270-444-0065.
