Former Democratic Kentucky State Auditor Crit Luallen says she’s very seriously considering a run for Governor in 2015.
Luallen, a two term auditor, has been the subject of speculation surrounding a run for the Governor, including in social media. Luallen says while the governors race is on the horizon, another election is front and center…
"Well, I’ve got a little time; we’ve got a U.S. Senate race first and we are working to recruit someone to run against Senator Mitch McConnell. I’m very involved in that effort and that race is in 2014. That’s the focus right now and I’ve got the rest of this year really to think through what my options are. "
Luallen is adding her name to a list other prospective gubernatorial Democratic candidates that includes Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway, Speaker of the House Greg Stumbo, and Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson.
