Latif Bolat

Murray, KY – Turkish American musician Latif Bolat gives a performance of traditional Turkish Sufi devotional music and poetry with slides of Turkey next Tuesday, September 26th at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Hall of Murray State. Bolat offers an introduction to modal music, a perspective on Islamic mysticism, and comments on Turkish history and contemporary life.
