Murray, KY – Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson says his staff is receiving hundreds of voter registration cards each day as Monday's deadline fast approaches. As of September 15, Kentucky had set a new state record for voter registrations as nearly 2.9 million residents sent in their cards, and that number's set to dramatically increase. The deadline to register is this Monday, and County Clerks' offices throughout Kentucky will accept voter registration cards until the close of business that day. A postmark of October 6 is also required for all mail-in voter registration applications. Registration cards can be obtained over the internet at www.vote.ky.gov/register.
