Lexington, KY – Kentucky's Board of Education will hold a special meeting tomorrow morning in a closed session to interview four candidates for the commissioner of education post. The four interviewees are Dennis Cheek of Missouri, Terry Holliday of North Carolina, Catherine Cross Maple of New Mexico, and Michael Sentence of Massachusetts. The Board will follow the interviews in an open session with a full agenda. The new commissioner will replace Jon Draud, who resigned in February for health reasons.
