KSP Searches for Two Escapees from Paducah Corretional Facility

UPDATE: Troopers from KSP Post 1 and Post 2 conducted a felony traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Interstate 69 in Caldwell County.  Troopers took Tabor and Britt into custody at 12:28 PM yesterday. 

Tabor is charged with Escape 2nd degree, Britt was charged with parole violation.  Randi N. Essawi, 30 of Princeton, KY was also in the vehicle and charged with Facilitation of Escape 2nd degree.  

They are lodged in McCracken County Jail.

KSP is continuing the investigation.

The Kentucky State Police is on the lookout for two men missing from the Keaton Correctional Institution in Paducah. 

KSP say they were contacted around 4:08 this morning by Keaton staff after a head count revealed a missing inmate.  

Everett E Tabor of Marion, Kentucky is described as a 33-year-old white male, 6'1'' with short brown hair and brown eyes.  He was serving time for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. 

A parolee staying at the facility, Chancellor A. Britt, 21, of Brydstown, Tennessee, also went missing.  Britt is a white male, 5'11', with blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair. 

Britt is on parole for a Wanton Endangerment conviction.

It is unknown what either inmate was wearing when they left the Keaton facility. 

The Kentucky State Police is investigating the escape.  If anyone has any contact with these subjects, contact the Kentucky State Police, Post 1 Mayfield at 1-800-222-5555
