Kentucky State Parks Offer Adventure Quest
Kentucky's state parks are offering a trivia and digital photo contest for families and friends. The Family Adventure Quest presents a series of challenges that teams complete by seeking out places or subjects in state parks and supplying a photo as the answer.
Teams of two to six people have until Dec. 5 to complete the quests.
State parks officials say the photo contest is a way to get people to explore natural and historic sites. Some challenges are park-specific, but most can be answered at any number of parks. A few can even be answered at home.
Teams who complete 10 quests will receive a certificate for a one-night stay at a park lodge and passes to park museums or forts.
