Kentucky to Receive FEMA Assistance

Frankfort, KY – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will offer disaster relief aid to Kentucky residents affected by mid-September's windstorms. Governor Beshear requested assistance after multiple counties statewide incurred severe damage from winds associated with tropical depression Ike. The declaration will make federal assistance available across the Commonwealth, including in eighteen western Kentucky counties.
